With over 100 years of coffee history, our Burg roasting house in beautiful Eppendorf is one of the oldest roasting houses still in existence in Hamburg. It is also thanks to our love of coffee and its origins that we opened the coffee museum in the Speicherstadt historical warehouse district in 2015.
To this day, the coffees in the Eppendorf shop are still roasted in the traditional drum roaster from the 1950s - following the example of Erich and Jens Burg. Today, customers can choose between around 24 pure coffees, 45 flavoured coffees with such illustrious names as Hawaii Kona Hazelnut and Marzipan Cappuccino, six types of espresso and around 140 different teas - from Jade Oolong to Kenya Pekoe.
